Just because you limit people's lifelines and send them back to work doesn't mean the consumers are going to come rushing in to spend. Just because the restaurant across the street is reopened doesn't mean I am racing outside to order something. I, just like a lot of Americans are waiting this out and changing habits as a result and that means I am spending way less.You can yell and scream to reopen but its building confidence in the consumers to be willing to go back out and spend that will speed up recovery.whenever my liberal american friend are like "shit's getting fucked, maybe i should move to canada!" i remind them that the technologies of domination being developed in the US will be exported to other countries unless we defeat the plague of fascism.
