I think this is what separates athletes from other famous entertainers and gives them more of a stage to stand on to do good in their communities on a larger scale. Put it this this way: people of all stripes listen to music, but not necessarily country or alt rock. People of all stripes watch movies but not necessarily the kinda of movies activists celebrities are in. I really don't understand how you can say people of all stripes watch sports, but not apply that same logic to music or cinema celebrities?
