This is really a Trick Or Teach Shirt Teacher Halloween Shirt hard decision. On the one hand, the character clearly still has so much story to tell. Enough to plan for a sequel, maybe even a third movie. And as callous as it may sound, the character T'Challa has been around before, during, and very sadly after his actor. Strictly from a writing standpoint, to leave a character cut off in such a way is.... well it's wasteful. But on the other hand, just look at these movies. Black Panther was such a memorable and amazing movie for me, and he played the character so well. Hulk was recast, War Machine was recast, and both ultimately worked out. But to recast the protagonist and the single most prominent black character in the MCU? Those shoes would be difficult to fill if not insurmountable.For now though, I think the most important thing is time. Letting his fans and more importantly his family grieve before trying to consider the direction in which to take Black Panther. Decisions like these shouldn't be made when feelings are still raw.
