 I’ve just given up Sorry I Am Already Taken By A Freaking Crazy Guy He’s A Perfect Mixture Shirt and let him do them since i don’t have the time. When I cook if I see dirty stuff I just drop it back in the sink or wash by hand if needed. It’s the only way I stay sane. for many months I wouldn’t let him do the dishes but working and graduate school meant I had to relent and compromise. We are both much happier now. Dishes are Mostly clean and aren’t in a huge pile in the sink. And we have more time to spend together since I’m not obsessively washing dishes during the very limited time we have together. I have a scrubber for removing food, and a soap sponge for cleaning the dish. My wife will remove food with the soap sponge and get food parts all over it and engrained in its fibers, so I can’t clean dishes with it any more. How do you plan on cleaning some with a sponge that is filthy! So I do the dishes when I can.  I watched my soon-to-be bride throw one of our forks (passed down from my parents) in the trash mere days ago. All because she put it through the dishwasher "multiple times" and it wouldn't come clean. After digging it out of the trash, I had it clean in 20 seconds using soap and my bare hands.....
